Motion Control – Alignment Stage!

(OES) has introduced the XYR-300-400 Alignment Stage offering +/- 3 micron accuracy for industrial, medical, semiconductor, production, research, and laboratory applications.  The XYR-300-400 Alignment Stage features +/- 15 mm of travel in the X and Y axes and +/- 5 degrees of rotation (theta). It moves in XY-plane and rotates around the center of the XY-plane.

The XYR-300-400 Alignment Stage feature linear resolutions of the X and Y axis of 1 micron resolution with a 10 micro-steps per step motor driver and static parallelism of less than 0.05 mm.

Motion Control –  Miniature Linear Voice Coil Motor!

Van Nuys, CA — Motion Control Components – Moticont has added two miniature linear voice coil motors to its LVCM family of Linear Voice Coil Motors! Sharing the same physical dimensions, each is just 1.000 in. (25.4 mm) in diameter and the housings are 1.500 in. (38.1 mm) long. As every application is different Moticont offers two motors in the LVCM-025 Series of Voice Coil Motors.

The LVCM-025-038-01 features a continuous force of 2.5 lbs (11.0 N) and a peak force of 7.8 lbs (34.7 N) and the LVCM-025-038-02 features a 1.000 in (25.4 mm) stroke, where as, the LVCM-025-038-01 features a stroke of 0.37 in. (9.5 mm) and the LVCM-025-038-02 features a continuous force of 16.4 oz (4.6 N) and a peak force of 51.9 oz (14.4 N).

Van Nuys, CA —– Motion Control – Build-to-Order High Precision XZR Positioning Stages (X-axis, Z-axis, and Rotary- axis) are the newest addition to the OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) family of motion control stages.  When specifying an XZR stage a user can select from a combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws.  For the rotary axis a 60 mm diameter rotary table or 100 mm diameter rotary table are available.

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – A low inertia hollow core voice coil or moving coil linear motor from Moticont, the HVCM-051-025-019-01, features high acceleration, precise positioning to less than one micron (0.00004 in.), high reliability, and low cost. This cleanroom friendly, non-commutated motor is available off-the-shelf. The HVCM-051-025-019-01 hollow core voice coil linear motor has an open apertures of 0.750 in. (19.05 mm).

The hollow core allows for optics, illumination, laser beams, or cables to pass through. With a 0.50 in. (12.7 mm) stroke length, a continuous force rating of 4.8 lbs (21.3 N) and a peak force of 15.15 lbs (67.4 N) at a 10% duty cycle, this compact voice coil motor measuring just 2.000 in. The LVCM-013-008-02M Linear Voice Coil motor, also known as a moving coil motor, is only 12.7 mm (0.500 in.) in diameter. The stroke length is 3.175 mm (0.125 in.) and the length at mid-stroke is just 12.7 mm (0.50) in. long. However, this new miniature voice coil motor has a high force-to-size ratio with a continuous force of 0.86 N (3.1 oz) and a peak force of 2.73 N (9.8 oz).

Built to order, a user can select from any combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for both the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws, and if required travel lengths over 100 mm are also available. Additionally, any of three goniometers with +/-10, +/-15, +/-45 degrees of travel can be selected and mounted in a horizontal (pictured) or vertical orientation.
