This series of 18 low-profile Pull type Clapper Solenoids has the ampere turns (windings) adjusted to meet the specific force and duty cycle requirements of an application. These compact solenoids have a captive 0.060 in (1.5mm) (typical) stroke and can be operated at a variety of duty cycles (voltage dependent) and are the ideal choice for: Medical dispensing, plotters, clutches, switches, mixing, valve control, vending machines, games, fire suppression systems, cabinet locks, door controls, detent latches and sorting equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n The solenoid is supplied with 4-inch leads and a built-in spring with a nominal force of 3 oz (0.8N) to extend the plunger out when power is removed. An optional mounting bracket is available. The 0.118 in. (3.0mm) diameter shaft has a 0.065 +\/-0.002 in. (1.65 +\/- 0.05mm) diameter thru hole for connection via 1\/16 roll pins. Ideal for short strokes, pull force versus stroke between zero and 0.060 in. (1.5mm) stroke range from 10 oz (2.8N) at full stroke to 37 oz (10.3N) at zero stroke at 10% duty cycle and from 1.8 oz (0.5N) at full stroke to 25 oz (7.0N) at zero stroke at 100% duty cycle.
