Santa Clarita, CA — Compact, High Speed, High Acceleration, Zero Cogging, with integral linear bearings are features of the NCC Series of linear motion Voice Coil Actuators releases by H2W Technologies. NCC Series Voice Coil Actuators are available from stock with strokes up to 5.2 in. (132 mm); longer strokes are available on request. The internal shaft and bushing bearing system guides the coil as it moves and allows for a compact overall size.

This NCC Series of Voice Coil actuators offers high speed, high acceleration up to 20 g’s, zero cogging, high resolution to 8.3 µm/m (0.0001 in./ft), high repeatability to 5 µm (0.0002 in.) dependent on the encoder, and long life. These high speed linear actuators are ideal for light load applications requiring high acceleration, high accuracy, repeatability, and a long stroke such as: Position control, Z-axis for pick-and-place equipment, robotics, testing, medical diagnostic probes and test equipment.

The NCC05-11-011-1PBS voice coil linear actuator (shown in photo) is a compact 2.250 in. (57.15 mm) long (at mid-stroke) X 1.100 in. (30.48 mm) diameter. Threaded mounting holes allow for easy integration into new or existing applications. The stroke length is 0.5 in. (12.7 mm), continuous force is 1.1 lbs(4.9 N), and it has a peak force of 3.3 lbs (14.7 N). The internal, stainless steel shaft and nylon linear bushings provide: Low cost , high cycle rate, and long life.
